Passion and Experience

With a passion for developing solutions for the charity sector, our team has over twenty-five years of experience in software, web-based, and database development and over fifty years of combined experience in fundraising.

Our senior leadership team have been employed directly by some of the largest charities in the UK, delivering us, as a company, real-world knowledge of the day-to-day challenges faced by fundraising and data teams throughout the sector.

We give charities valuable insights into their donation data, increase HMRC-compliant Gift Aid claims, and manage ongoing donations. To date, we have validated over 2.2 million Gift Aid declarations and helped submit claims for over £5 million. Let us work with you to make every gift count.

Kevin has been employed for some of the largest charities in the UK, including the British Red Cross, Age UK, RNID, The Children’s Society & The Brooke, and, as a consultant, for dozens of smaller-sized organisations through the development of his Gift Aid software products such as Giftease and Scanstore.

Since 2000 and the inception of the Gift Aid Scheme, he’s been aware of the varying issues charities face with Gift Aid which inspired him to develop his first company Scanstore Limited which Blackbaud Inc acquired in 2005. Since then, he’s developed bespoke software solutions and plugins for fundraising & Gift Aid across the charity sector, working for and with charities of all sizes.

He founded Giftease Solutions in 2019 primarily to help charities protect historical Gift Aid income and secure future Gift Aid income. Since then, we’ve developed our platform and service offerings as a more comprehensive fundraising solution for the sector to complement Gift Aid, such as fundraising analytics and smart view, our web-based supporter view software.
