The Giftease Academy is a unique learning management system (LMS). Giftease Academy offers a variety of online courses tailored to the diverse needs of charity professionals, simplifying the learning experience.

Who can use the platform?

Giftease Academy is ideal for charity professionals, including staff, volunteers, and trustees. Organisations can enrol multiple team members to enhance their knowledge of all aspects of charity work, in particular Gift Aid, Analytics and Wellbeing. 

 

How much does it cost to use the platform?

We offer flexible pricing plans based on the size of your organisation and the number of users you wish to enroll. Currently, we offer a free subscription with the option to upgrade once you are registered on our platform. Please contact us for a custom quote at solutions@gift-ease.co.uk.

 

Are there any discounts for larger organisations or multiple enrolments?

Yes, we offer Enterprise subscriptions for larger organisations. Contact us at solutions@gift-ease.co.uk to discuss your organisation’s specific needs, and we will provide a tailored pricing solution.

 

Why do you use subscriptions?

Our low-cost monthly subscriptions help us cover essential technology & hosting costs, including our LMS provider Articulate 360’s licence fees. While some may question the need for subscriptions given that we charge for some courses, it’s important to note that the fees for paid courses are shared between course content providers, resellers, and ourselves. Additionally, we also currently offer free courses and plan to host charity-specific free course content in the future. Subscriptions enable us to sustain these initiatives and continue providing high-quality content and services for all our users.

 

Is the platform GDPR-compliant?

Absolutely. We take data protection seriously and ensure that our platform is fully GDPR-compliant. Your learner’s personal and course data is securely stored and handled with the utmost confidentiality.

 

What if I have more specific learning needs for my organisation?

We offer custom training solutions for organisations that require specialised content. If you have particular needs or topics you want to address, please get in touch with our team at solutions@gift-ease.co.uk, and we will work with you to develop a tailored course.

How do I sign up my organisation?

If you’re a charity professional looking to register your organisation with Giftease Academy, please visit our Signup page. Once registered, you will receive a welcome email with instructions on how to log in; simply follow the link provided in your inbox to register your organisation and access the platform.

I’m having trouble completing the sign up process and creating my organisation’s account?

The contact email you enter during sign up will be email used to log into the Giftease Academy admin account which manages your charity’s organisation and learners.

Please ensure your enter your corporate email address (e.g., yourname@companydomain.com). Only email addresses from the domain of your charity registered with the Charity Commission are accepted for verification purposes. If you’re unsure about your Charity number or other details, search the Charity Commission website.

If you’re still experiencing difficulties during the sign up process, please contact our support team for assistance.

 

I never received my registration email?

Please check that you have entered your information correctly as outlined above. Our system may take a few minutes to send your email, please check your spam and junk folders. If you still aren’t receiving our emails, please contact our support team for assistance.

What courses do you offer?

Giftease Academy offers a variety of courses aimed at different levels of expertise, from beginner to advanced. These courses cover topics like the basics of Gift Aid, Retail Gift Aid, maximising Gift Aid for charities, and many more.

How long do the courses take to complete?

Course durations vary depending on the topic and depth of material. On average, most Giftease Academy courses take between 30 minutes to 1 hour to complete. You can progress at your own pace, pause and log off at any time and your progress will be saved. All of our courses have content broken up into smaller modules with ‘lessons’.

 

What is the knowledge level of the courses?

No prior knowledge of Gift Aid is required! We offer introductory modules such as ‘GA1 – Gift Aid Unlocked’ that cover the basics and ensure that learners of all levels can understand and apply the material. More advanced courses build on this foundation, so you can learn progressively.

 

Will my learners receive a certificate upon completion of a course?

Yes! Once your learners complete a course, they will receive a certificate of completion certified by Giftease. This can be downloaded and saved for their records, and can used to demonstrate their new knowledge or professional development.

Can I access the platform on mobile or tablet?

Yes, our platform is fully responsive and can be accessed on any device with an internet connection, including mobile phones, tablets, and desktops. This allows your learners to study at their own pace, whether in the office or on the go.

 

How often are courses updated?

We update our courses regularly to reflect any changes in Gift Aid regulations and best practices. Our team of experts ensures that the content stays current and relevant, so learners always have access to the most up-to-date information.

Account management & support

How do I update my personal details or account information?

To update your personal details, simply log into your Giftease Academy account and navigate to your profile settings. You can edit your contact information, change your password, or update any other personal information associated with your account.

 

What happens if I forget my login details?

If you forget your Giftease Academy login credentials, you can reset your password by clicking the “Forgot Password” link on the login page. You will receive instructions to reset your password via email.

 

How do I enroll learners from my organisation?

You can easily enroll learners by creating an account on our platform. Once registered with Giftease Academy, you can add and manage your organisation’s learners, assign courses, and track their progress. Our user-friendly interface makes it simple to manage multiple users at once.

 

How do I track the progress of my learners?

Our platform includes an admin dashboard that allows you to monitor the progress of each learner within your organisation. You can view course completion statuses, quiz results, and other metrics to ensure that your team is progressing through the material.
